April 25-27, 2025
Experience JETBOATING, SHOOTING, and FUN! This informative weekend gets you out of the house after a long winter to enjoy Idaho’s Salmon River. American Freedom Defense hosts our Shootout Weekend. They bring guns, obstacle courses and instruction. Shoot at whatever level you feel comfortable with along with Mackay Bar providing Salmon River jetboating fun! We will travel the Salmon River from Vinegar Creek to China Bar – enjoying Idaho’s Wilderness!

Stay at Mackay Bar Ranch for two nights while enjoying the upper Main Salmon River by Jet Boat. This extensive jet boat tour will take you all the way from Vinegar Creek Boat Ramp to Campbells Ferry – thru the heart of the Wild & Scenic River Corridor in the Frank Church “River Of No Return” Wilderness. See many of the homesteads along the way.

Unload your personal UTV or ATVs in the historic Dixie, ID and ride the 26 mile Forest Service #222 road from the mountain peaks along the Gospel Hump Wilderness Area to the Frank Church River of No Return Salmon River Wilderness down below. Enjoy two nights lodging, all meals and a full day jet boat tour once at Mackay Bar. Get to know your own backyard and explore the Salmon River area!
