Let’s cover a few details about our June 9th to 11th weekend event titled
“SALMON RIVER ATV and JET BOAT TOUR!
Load up the ATV’s, UTV’s or dirt bikes and travel to Dixie, IDAHO where you’ll unload and begin your adventure. You will travel 26 miles into the heart of Idaho’s backcountry making your way through the Gospel Hump Wilderness Corridor and transcend down into the Salmon River Canyon to arrive at your destination: the historic Mackay Bar Ranch right on the shores of the River of No Return.
Arrival at Mackay Bar Ranch means enjoying 2 nights of luxury accommodations, hot showers, home cooked meals, and a full day jet boat tour into the Wild Section of the Frank Church Wilderness. Your jet boat captain will share many stories anecdotes of the history along this remote section of the Salmon River. Within a 30 mile stretch of the Salmon River, you’ll visit and explore Buckskin Bills, Painter Mine, Reho Wolfe’s Place, China Bar, and Campbells Ferry.
