VISITOR’S ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RISK
I recognize that there is an element of risk in any adventure, sport, or activity associated with the outdoors. I am fully aware of the risks and dangers inherent in the activity I am about to partake in and have been informed of known special hazards in such activity. This includes landings and takeoffs at Mackay Bar Airstrip, LLC.
I UNDERSTAND THAT THESE RISK, HAZARDS, AND DANGERS INCLUDE WITHOUT LIMITATION:
1. The risk of handling firearms or other weapons and being near others that have firearms or other weapons in their possession;
2. Walking in rugged country including encounters with wildlife, animals and insects;
3. Water hazards while boating and wading in the rivers including drowning;
4. Riding of horses and encounters with mules;
5. Injuries from hunting and fishing equipment and other participants;
6. Inclement weather conditions and unavailability of immediate medical attention in the wilderness in case of injury.
7. Landing and takeoffs at a remote, backcountry airstrip.
l, and the adult members of my family. I have read the above. I certify that my family and I, including minor children, are fully capable of participating in the said activity.
Therefore, I assume full responsibility for personal Injury to myself and/or to members of my family, or for loss or damage to my personal property and expenses thereof as a result of my negligence or the negligence of my family participating in said activity except to the extent such damage or injury may be due to the negligence of Mackay Bar Outfitters & Guest Ranch Inc, Mackay Bar Ranch LLC, and Mackay Bar Airstrip, LLC. I further understand that Mackay Bar Outfitters & Guest Ranch Inc, Mackay Bar Ranch LLC and Mackay Bar Airstrip, LLC reserves the right to refuse any person it judges to be incapable of meeting the rigors and requirements of participating in jetboating, piloting, fishing, horseback riding and hunting activities.
I have read, understand, and accept the terms and conditions stated herein and acknowledge that this agreement shall be effective and binding upon the parties during the entire period of participation of the said activity.
