Mackay Bar Ranch invites you to join us for an unforgettable weekend event in April for our annual Jet Boat Shoot Out! This special event combines wilderness adventure, jetboating and firearms training/shooting by American Freedom Defense. This event is ideal for young, old, experienced and beginners. All individuals attending the event are able to walk away with new knowledge and an unforgettable Idaho Wilderness vacation!

We will pick you up at Vinegar Creek Boat Ramp – 26 miles East of Riggins, ID at Noon MST. Enjoy stops such as Polly Bemis and Buckskin Bills Museum. Once settled at Mackay Bar, you will reload the jet boats with your coolers and travel upriver – enjoying Idaho’s Salmon River by jet boat! Enjoy dinner along with very comfortable lodging accommodations at Mackay Bar Ranch!

The Saturday portion of our weekend at Mackay Bar Ranch includes all meals as well as a gun shoot expo. Jim & Amy Gorges with American Freedom Defense are your hosts. Enjoy shooting and instruction from top notch instructors as well as a shoot off obstacle course upriver! A social hour after the course will be had on the river front patio overlooking the Salmon River!

After a warm breakfast at the Lodge at Mackay Bar, we will return to Vinegar Creek Boat Ramp – arriving at Noon. We will cover 26 miles of river today (one-way).

Experience top notch training, gun instruction, gun expo and a fun obstacle shoot off with safety and fun combined! This event is for both beginners and experienced shooters .
