What you should know while at Mackay Bar Ranch:
Because you’re in a backcountry wilderness area, cell phones and internet are unavailable. Its a great time to put the rest of the world on hold and focus on everything and everyone around you. Guests tend to connect on a human level over our meal times, in front of a warm fire in the lodge, sitting out on the beach under the stars. Sharing the days challenges, victories and swapping stories amongst each other are some of the best times had! (We do have a satellite phone for emergencies. )
